Note: This is not a casual position, volunteers are chosen based on their experience, motivation, goals and passion for puppies and dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments.
Sherwood Barks currently has volunteers on each day of the week. Although, if you have interest, please fill out an application below to get started!
Volunteer Requirements:
- Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older
- Each volunteer has a designated day of the week and a minimum time committment. Please ensure you are willing and able to attend every week, unless previously discusssed and arranged. We require at least 1 week in advance notice if you are unable to attend your scheduled volunteer shift to ensure we have adequate coverage.
- Volunteers must have a reliable mode of transportation
- Volunteers must be committed to applying positive training methods with no intention of causing physical or emotional harm to any animal
