What to Expect:
Our private training sessions are rooted in positive reinforcement, force-free, and science-based methodologies. Each session is designed to address unwanted behaviors—including fear, reactivity, and aggression—by teaching appropriate alternative behaviors and building confidence through proven techniques such as counterconditioning, desensitization, and classical and operant conditioning.
We focus on understanding why a behavior is occurring, and finding solutions for the root cause of the challenges your dog might be having. You will learn how your dog communicates, what motivates them, and how to meet their natural instincts in ways that are appropriate to their individual temperament and breed tendencies. This approach strengthens clarity, trust, and your overall relationship with your dog.
We do not recommend or use training methods that rely on corrections, pain, intimidation, or fear. These aversive techniques have been shown to be harmful to a dog’s emotional well-being and can damage the human–dog bond. Research also demonstrates that such methods often increase unwanted behaviors because they fail to teach dogs what to do instead.
A core part of our role as Certified Professional Dog Trainer's is educating owners on the myths surrounding “dominance,” “pack leader,” and “alpha” theories. Our training philosophy is centered on care built through trust, consistency, and clear communication, not force.
