Do you want to become a Professional Dog Trainer, but don't know where to start?

At Sherwood Barks, we are now offering a Dog Trainer course.

Our team of Professional Dog Trainers have years of experience in training dogs and we are committed to providing a personalized training programs that meet the unique needs of each furry friend. Our course is designed to teach you the material and content required for to become a certified Dog Trainer, in a classroom style environment. Here is how we do that!

Small Class Size: 8 student maximum

10 Classes (3 hour duration each class) = 30 hours of classroom instruction preparing and teaching you the theories, skills, and knowledge required to successfully pass trainer examinations. Click here to view our course content. 

Practice exam questions: testing your knowledge at the end of each class, as well as an overall practice exam on all of the teachings at the end of this course.

Practicum: Access to achieve the 130 hours of shadowing and hands on teaching, recording of your skills in vidoes, and recording of your coaching video's. Click here to meet the Instructor, Maegan Rose.

Our full support and guidance in obtaining all of th following: 

• Note: Must be over 21 yrs of age
• 130 hours in dog training within 18 months
• 20 CEU's
• Agreement of the Guiding Principles
• Completion of an online application to write an examination, submit your skills videos, and your coaching videos

Your Investment:

• Classroom prep course $1250 (great for students that already have their required hours, and access to clients to record their coaching sessions)
• Classroom prep course & Practicum (130 hours working with a variety of dog sizes and breeds, recording your skills videos, and your coaching videos) $1250 + $1000 = $2250

Note: any proctored examination fee to write an official examination is not included in your above investment, and will be required when the applicant applies to write their official examination.
